Controversial preacher Paul Mackenzie is set to present his defence in the Shakahola trial, accused of leading hundreds of followers to their deaths through a deadly fast.

• Over 450 followers are believed to have died following Mackenzie's doctrines.
• Mackenzie and 95 accomplices are facing charges including organized crime and radicalisation.
• The Shanzu court ruled a prima facie case against the accused after 96 prosecution witnesses presented their evidence.
