The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has officially opened the application portal for the 2026 placement cycle, allowing 2025 KCSE candidates and previous leavers to apply for university, college, and TVET programmes. The application window is open from April 7 to May 6, 2026.
- A total of 980,444 candidates sat the 2025 KCSE, with 268,700 qualifying for degree programmes (minimum C+).
- KUCCPS is facilitating placements into 43 public and 31 private universities, and 251 public TVET colleges.
- Degree programme students are expected to join universities in September 2026, while TVET placements are continuous starting May 2026.
