The joint Pamoja AFCON 2027 Local Organising Committee (LOC) has announced that next year's Africa Cup of Nations will take place from June 19 to July 18 across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

• The tournament will be the last 24-team AFCON before it expands to 28 teams and switches to a four-year cycle.
• The Ugandan government has waived visa fees for foreigners to boost tourism during the event.
• Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania face stadium readiness challenges with less than a year to the tournament start.
