President William Ruto has signed into law the Supplementary Appropriations Bill, boosting the current fiscal spending by 9.1% to Ksh 393.2 billion, thus increasing the FY2025/26 budget to Ksh 4.695 trillion.

• The National Government receives the largest share of the additional funds at Ksh 363.9 billion.
• The security docket is granted the largest single appropriation of Ksh 60 billion, with Ksh 2 billion allocated for victims of 2024 demonstrations.
• The education sector secured the second-highest allocation with Ksh 45.3 billion, including Ksh 24.2 billion for the Teachers Service Commission.
