A man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison or a Ksh 7.8 million fine for drug smuggling and related offenses.

• The suspect, Samuel Muchile Makoba, was found guilty of multiple counts including trafficking narcotic drugs.
• The conviction occurred at the Vihiga Law Courts, with the Trial Magistrate Hon. P. Karani presiding.
• Also confiscated was the vehicle used in the operation, highlighting strengthened measures by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and law enforcement agencies against tax evasion.
