President William Ruto has nominated individuals for Kenya’s Foreign Service, aiming to broaden the nation’s diplomatic reach globally.

• Humphrey Wattanga, former Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) Commissioner General, has been nominated as High Commissioner to Pretoria, South Africa.
• Other nominations include Dr. Julius Murori Mbijiwe to the Vatican and Amb. Irene Maswan as Deputy Ambassador to London.
• These nominations have been sent to the National Assembly for parliamentary approval.
