- 23.0 per cent of bribes were paid for birth certificate applications, the highest frequency reported.
- The Kenya National Gender and Corruption Survey 2025, a collaborative effort including the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and Transparency International Kenya, compiled the data.
- Citizens most frequently paid bribes to speed up services (32.1 per cent), access them (27.8 per cent), or avoid issues.
