The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened its 2026 application window for student placement, running from April 7 to May 6, 2026.

  • Eligible applicants include the 2025 KCSE class and previous Form Four leavers, with 980,444 candidates from the 2025 cohort having their results processed.
  • The minimum grade for degree placement remains C+, while TVET programmes are open to KCSE candidates from 2000 to 2025 with any grade.
  • Students placed in public institutions can apply for government scholarships and loans, while those in private universities are eligible for loans only through the Higher Education Funding system.
