South African electric vehicle company Agilitee is set to expand its reach across Africa, including Kenya, following its merger with US-listed firm Media Sentiment Inc. The deal aims to unlock global investment for green technology.

• Agilitee shareholders will control 95 per cent of the merged entity, to be rebranded Agilitee Inc.
• The merger is expected to close on July 31.
• The deal could boost green technology investment in Kenya, which has seen significant growth in electric vehicle registration and charging revenue.
