The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has successfully registered 875,501 new voters during the first two weeks of its Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration (ECVR) drive, which runs from March 30 to April 28, 2026.

• A total of 875,501 new voters were registered between March 30 and April 9, 2026, with 531,185 added in the week of April 3 to April 9.

• Nairobi County leads with the highest number of new registrations at 96,897, followed by Kiambu with 46,265.
