The WEEE Centre in Kenya is tackling the nation's growing electronic waste (e-waste) problem by repurposing old computers into televisions and other innovative recycling initiatives. Kenya generates an estimated 51,000 metric tonnes of e-waste annually, with only 1% formally recycled.

• The WEEE Centre, a Nema-licensed recycler, ensures safe disposal and has handled over 10,000 tonnes of e-waste.
• The company employs a circular economy model based on seven R's (refuse, reduce, reuse, repair, refurbish, repurpose, and recycle) and partners with corporate and government entities.
