The Truckers Association of Kenya (TAK) has announced an immediate 30 per cent increase in transport charges following the latest fuel price hike by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).

• The association represents 20,000 registered members and over 50,000 trucks.
• TAK officials also expressed concerns about a recent fuel shortage, alleging potential supply manipulation.
• Raphael Lamuya, TAK chairperson, criticized the government's planning and communication regarding fuel reserves and price increases.
