Nyamira County is undertaking a multi-billion shilling investment across key sectors, including infrastructure and services, following a recent tour by President Ruto.

A Ksh15B investment package targets affordable housing, markets, and student hostels, with the Ikonge Modern Market (Ksh70M) already laid.
Significant road projects are underway, including the partially completed 61KM Eronge – Kebuse – Omonyenya road.
Upgrades in healthcare include a Ksh1B commitment to Nyamira County Referral Hospital, and in education, Nyamira University College is receiving Ksh500M for construction.
