The Kenyan government has won a legal battle to proceed with the finalisation of a reviewed hardship zones report after the Employment and Labour Relations Court dismissed a petition by the Kenya Teachers in Hardship and Arid Areas Welfare Association (Kethawa).
- The court ruled Kethawa's petition was premature and lacked evidence of specific violations by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Public Service Commission (PSC), and Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
