Parents, learners, and education stakeholders in Nandi Hills received sensitization on the dangers and prevention of Gender Based Violence (GBV) during a forum organized by Eastern Produce Kenya Tea Company.

• Clinical Officer-In-Charge of GBV prevention, Abigael Jepkoech, highlighted that GBV manifests in various forms including psychological, physical, economic, and sexual violence.
• The forum emphasized the importance of collective responsibility from families, schools, and the community in preventing GBV.
• Learners were urged to focus on studies and report mistreatment, while parents and teachers were encouraged to foster supportive environments and seek prompt medical and legal assistance for victims.
