President William Ruto has announced leadership re-appointments in four state agencies to streamline government operations. These strategic re-appointments were confirmed via a gazette notice dated Friday, April 17, 2026.

• Godfrey Lemiso, Non-Executive Chairperson of the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REREC), received a fresh three-year term.
• Other re-appointed leaders include Samuel Sakita Kuata (Ewaso Ng’iro South River Basin Development Authority), Richard Cheruiyot (Export Processing Zones Authority), and Adan Mohammed (Kenya Leather Development Council).
• Each reappointment is for a period of three years, effective mid-April 2026, continuing their roles from initial appointments in 2023.
