Kenya's General Service Unit (GSU), Ports Authority (KPA), and Equity Bank volleyball teams are set to compete in the Men’s African Volleyball Club Championship starting tomorrow in Kigali, Rwanda.
- The three Kenyan sides aim to surpass last year's performance where GSU finished 10th, KPA 11th, and Kenya Prisons 18th.
- GSU coach Gideon Tarus acknowledged the high standard of competition, citing the professionalization of leagues in other African countries, but expressed determination to improve Kenya's standing.
- Tarus will also use the event to scout players for the Kenyan men's national team, Wafalme Stars.
