The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has appointed Nicholas Bodo as Acting Director General following the exit of Emile Arao.

• The leadership transition took effect immediately after Emile Arao's tenure concluded on April 22.
• The KCAA Board of Directors announced the appointment of Nicholas Bodo, who previously served as a Senior Deputy Director.
• Emile Arao, who served a three-year term since April 2022, has completed his tenure after what the board described as a period of "meaningful contribution".
