The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) and the Ministry of Youth Affairs have partnered on the World Bank-funded NYOTA Programme to boost youth employability through structured workplace exposure and skills development.

• The programme aims to provide workplace exposure to 130,000 young people nationwide.
• Key organizations involved are the KNCCI, acting as the Umbrella Employer Organization (UEO), and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports.
• The initiative will initially roll out in seven counties in Western Kenya, focusing on linking youth to artisans and employers to bridge the skills gap.
