The Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has successfully registered 505,344 new voters in the past week, with the mass registration exercise set to conclude on April 28.

A total of 1,876,274 new voters have been registered since the exercise began on March 30, 2026.
The IEBC, led by Chairperson Erastus Ethekon, also reported 159,410 voter transfers and 2,817 updates to particulars.
The IEBC urged stakeholders to respect its independence and avoid misinformation, intimidation, or interference during the electoral process.
