Fifa is investigating the expulsion of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Mohammed Hussein and two other officials, demanding documentation from the FKF National Executive Committee (NEC).
- Fifa has requested all documents by May 1, 2026.
- FCF president Mohammed Hussein, Acting General Secretary Dennis Gicheru, and NEC member Abdullahi Yusuf Ibrahim were suspended by nine out of fourteen NEC members led by deputy president McDonald Mariga.
- The suspension stems from allegations of corruption and breaches related to an irregular payment of $328,735 (Sh42.48 million) for 2024 Africa Cup of Nations insurance.
