Fifa is investigating the expulsion of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Mohammed Hussein and two other officials, demanding documentation from the FKF National Executive Committee (NEC).

Fifa has requested all documents by May 1, 2026.
FCF president Mohammed Hussein, Acting General Secretary Dennis Gicheru, and NEC member Abdullahi Yusuf Ibrahim were suspended by nine out of fourteen NEC members led by deputy president McDonald Mariga.
The suspension stems from allegations of corruption and breaches related to an irregular payment of $328,735 (Sh42.48 million) for 2024 Africa Cup of Nations insurance.
