The final contingent of 150 Kenyan police officers in Haiti is set to return on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, concluding Kenya's leadership in the Multinational Security Support (MSS) mission.

• More than 800 Kenyan officers have already returned home after serving in the mission since June 2024.
• The Kenyan officers were working to ensure continuity and a smooth handover to incoming forces, including contingents from Chad, Bangladesh, Mongolia, and Sri Lanka.
• Kenya has strongly rejected allegations of sexual abuse against MSS mission members, stating that a board of inquiry found no support for the claims.
