Malindi is set to host the inaugural women-only ‘Dera & Dance’ Weekender, a cultural retreat focused on love and romance, from April 30 to May 3, 2026 at Mwembe Resort.

• The event aims to foster empowerment through self-expression in a safe, celebratory space for women.
• Key organizers include Wanjiru Mbiyu, founder of Ginga Bella, and Jean Githinji, community host of Malindi Afro Latin.
