The Iten–Kabarnet Road has been completely blocked near the Kolol area due to a landslide, forcing the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) to advise motorists to use alternative routes.

• The landslide was caused by ongoing heavy rainfall, making the road impassable.
• KeNHA is managing the situation and working on debris clearance.
• Motorists are advised to use the Iten – Eldoret – Eldama Ravine – Kabarnet route as an alternative.
