The Siaya County Assembly has approved a new cohort of nominees for County Executive Committee Members and Chief Officers, following vetting and committee scrutiny.

• Two nominees, Grace Agola (Education) and George Nyingiro (Finance), were rejected by the assembly.
• Among the approved nominees are former MCAs Joseph Mboha, Willis Ochieng’, and Jared Abayo.
• The approvals pave the way for Governor James Orengo to formally appoint the nominees to their respective positions.
