The Kenyan Ministry of Labour has disbursed Ksh 2.42 billion for the April 2026 cycle of the Inua Jamii cash transfer program, supporting over 1.2 million vulnerable citizens.

• The disbursed amount totals Ksh 2,426,132,000 for 1,213,066 beneficiaries.
• Payments are being made by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection through the State Department for Social Protection and Senior Citizen Affairs.
• Each beneficiary, including older persons aged 70+ and those with severe disabilities, will receive Ksh 2,000, with payments commencing on April 30 and accessible via mobile money.
