Heavy rains across Kenya have resulted in at least 10 fatalities nationwide, with the Eastern region bearing the brunt of the impact. A section of the Iten-Kabarnet Road has been blocked by a landslide near Kolol due to heavy rainfall, causing significant disruption to transport. Intense rainfall has also caused severe flooding in several areas, submerging homes in Syokimau, Kiambu, and Nairobi, with swept-away vehicles and submerged businesses reported.
