President William Ruto announced that the Mau Mau Road Project, a major infrastructure initiative connecting four counties, is 60 percent complete and is slated for completion within the next two years.

An additional Ksh2 billion has been allocated to expedite the project's completion.
The Mau Mau Road Project links Kiambu, Murang’a, Nyeri, and Nyandarua counties.
