The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary closure of a section of the Nairobi Southern Bypass to accommodate the 2026 Nairobi Marathon.

The closure will be in effect on Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 6am to 1pm.
The affected stretch is between the Ole Sereni Interchange and the Lang’ata Road Interchange.
Motorists are advised to use Mombasa Road (A8) as an alternative route.
