The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a temporary closure of a section of the Nairobi Southern Bypass to accommodate the 2026 Nairobi Marathon.

The affected stretch is between the Ole Sereni Interchange and the Lang’ata Road Interchange.
The closure is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm.
KeNHA advises motorists to use Mombasa Road (A8) and Nyayo National Stadium Roundabout as alternative routes.
