• LSK President Charles Kanjama stated that President Suluhu's remarks raise "grave constitutional and rule of law concerns."
• The LSK highlighted Kenya's Constitution, particularly Articles 33, 36, and 37, which guarantee freedom of expression, association, and peaceful assembly.
• President Suluhu made these remarks on May 5, suggesting protesters should not be "pampered" and advocating for severe disciplinary action.
