The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has reclaimed 18 acres of land in Karura Forest and issued a strong warning to land grabbers that illegal occupation will not guarantee ownership.

• Over 1,000 trees were planted on the restored land.
• The EACC, alongside the Kenya Forest Service, organized the tree-planting event.
• The land was illegally acquired almost 30 years ago and valued at approximately Sh2.8 billion before being recovered through a court process in October 2025.
