Four people are in critical condition after two boats collided and capsized in the Kilindi area, Lamu County on Saturday morning.

• Four passengers sustained critical injuries and were evacuated to King Fahad Hospital.
• Kenya Red Cross Society action teams, community disaster responders, and local divers were among the first responders.
• The two boats carried a combined total of 19 passengers at the time of the accident.
