Allan Thigo was a celebrated former midfielder for Gor Mahia and the Kenyan national team, Harambee Stars.
Eliud Owalo, the current patron of Gor Mahia, described Thigo as "one of Kenya’s greatest football legends" and "the 'Ogango Wuon Pap'".
