- A high-level meeting hosted by EACC Secretary Abdi Mohamud with FBI Deputy Director Andrew Bailey reaffirmed a shared commitment to tackling corruption as a global threat.
- The collaboration includes intelligence sharing, mutual legal assistance, asset tracing, and specialized training, with efforts underway to appoint a Regional Transnational Anti-Corruption Programme Manager.
- Key initiatives include the joint EACC–FBI Task Force, established in 2024, comprising 24 specialized officers, and the modernization of investigation tools and interview rooms.
