Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have linked the murder of Reverend Julius Ndumia Ngari to a notorious criminal gang. The cleric was killed on May 3, 2026, at PCEA Tabuga Church in Nakuru North Sub-County.

The gang is known for violent armed robberies disguised as security officers and has previously been profiled by detectives in July 2022.
The DCI is investigating links to this gang, which uses an L1A1 firearm, a weapon previously recovered by police in 2024.
This same group is also suspected in a robbery on May 1, 2026, where Sh600,000 was transferred from a victim's account.
