The Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) has significantly reduced park entry fees for students and school buses, alongside introducing free entry opportunities, as part of a campaign to boost domestic tourism.

• Students from nursery through university can now enter premium parks like Amboseli and Lake Nakuru for Ksh 500 (a 33% discount), valid until July 31, 2026.
• KWS is offering free entry for every 100 paying students and up to 3 teachers/minders per school.
• This initiative contrasts with the National Museums of Kenya (NMK), which recently increased fees for museums and heritage sites.
