The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has charged an employee of the Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company with allegedly using a forged KCSE certificate to fraudulently earn over Ksh5.9 million.

• The accused, an artisan, is alleged to have earned Ksh5,909,037.10 between August 2015 and December 2023.
• Key entities involved include the DPP, Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company, and the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC).
• The charges were filed at the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court on May 13 and include forgery and fraudulent acquisition of public property.
