Germany has opened applications for a paid professional development program for experienced Kenyan German-language teachers. The opportunity allows selected educators to spend nearly a year teaching in Germany, gaining international exposure and insights into its education system.

• Selected teachers will receive a monthly stipend of over €1,500 (approx. Ksh227,000) or an employment contract of approximately €2,500 (approx. Ksh370,000).
• The program is organized by the German Embassy in Nairobi and is part of the 2027 PAD Professional Development Programme.
• Applications are open until July 22nd, with specific educational and professional requirements for applicants.
