A man in Eldoret has been sentenced to life imprisonment for defiling an 11-year-old girl. The court found the accused guilty of the offence committed between 21/10/24 and 10/11/24 in Kamagut Area, Turbo Sub-County.

• Sentenced to life imprisonment.
• The Principal Magistrate Caroline Wattimah delivered the sentence.
• The accused was also declared a dangerous sexual offender and the victim is to receive treatment and psychosocial support.
