The Nairobi City County Government has completed a major upgrade of walkways in the Nairobi CBD, enhancing pedestrian safety and efficiency as part of the “Let’s Make Nairobi Work” initiative.

• Key areas like Moi Avenue, Tom Mboya Street, and the Kencom area now feature modern cabro paving, LED street lighting, and benches.
• The project was championed by Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja.
• Upgrades include accessibility ramps for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and improved drainage systems.
