President William Ruto has arrived in Baku, Azerbaijan, to attend the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum, an event where Kenya was specifically invited due to its progress in housing and urban development.

• Kenya recognized for leadership in affordable housing and sustainable urban development.
• Key attendees include President Ruto, First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defence Industry Mr Vuqar Mustafayev, and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Kenya Mr Sultan Hajiyev.
• President Ruto will hold bilateral engagements on energy, ICT, infrastructure, and agricultural exports, including talks with President Ilham Aliyev.
