A taxi driver and a business woman are implicated in an alleged Sh54.9 million gold scam targeting foreign investors in Nairobi.

• The alleged fraud involved fake assay certificates, insurance, and shipment documents for a gold export deal to Dubai.
• The accused, Ahmed Bashar Mohamed and Kache Mildred alias Sabeena Avesha, were released on bond by the Milimani Law Courts.
• Prosecutors stated the victims, Terry Lee Schrubb Jnr and Kenneth Adler, were defrauded of $447,000 (approximately Sh54.9 million).
