The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) will implement a new system allowing motorists to settle fines for minor traffic offences without court appearances, starting June 1, 2026.

• Motorists will receive a Police Notification of Traffic Offence and can choose to pay the fine or dispute it in court.
• The initiative involves the NTSA, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), and the National Police Service (NPS).
• This follows the suspension of an earlier rollout due to public backlash and lawsuits.
