- The project involves constructing 395 km of Matayos-Port Victoria-Nyamonye-Asembo Bay-Otongo Road and 350 km of Bay-Nyagwethe-Sori-Muhuru Bay Road.
- The highways will traverse Busia, Siaya, Kisumu, Homa Bay, and Migori counties under the Lake Victoria Basin Development Program (LVBDP).
