The Kirinyaga County Government has assured the public that hospital services will remain uninterrupted amidst concerns of a planned health worker go-slow. The county is actively addressing labour issues, including budget proposals for promotions and the integration of casual employees into the payroll system.

• Budget proposals for health worker promotions and re-designations have been forwarded to the Kirinyaga County Assembly for approval.
• A total of 237 casual employees have been onboarded to the integrated county payroll, with their salary arrears paid.
• Chief Officer for Medical Services, Public Health and Sanitation, Dr. Muriithi Nyaga, stated that all public medical facilities have adequate medical supplies.
