The Universities Fund has announced the opening of scholarship applications for continuing university students for the 2026/27 academic year, under the student-centred funding model.

• Scholarship applications are open to students entering their second, third, and fourth years.
• Eligible students can apply by dialing *642# on their mobile phones and must be Kenyan citizens who sat their KCSE from 2022 onwards, and placed by KUCCPS in public universities.
• Awards are determined by financial need through the Means Testing Instrument (MTI), covering 30-70% of tuition fees.
