The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) is using funds from the Universal Service Fund (USF) to save 17 Posta branches from planned closure.

• 17 Posta branches will be refurbished and converted into smart post offices.
• The CA and the Postal Corporation of Kenya (Posta) are involved in this initiative.
• These branches were among the 125 Posta offices deemed commercially unviable and slated for closure.
