Kenya Power is actively identifying and migrating all Electric Vehicle (EV) charging customers to its specialized e-mobility tariff to improve revenue tracking and sector planning.

• Cumulative EV charging revenues have reached Sh382 million between July 2023 and April 2026, with monthly revenues peaking at Sh35.25 million in February 2026.
• The initiative is led by Kenya Power, with its Managing Director Joseph Siror emphasizing support for e-mobility adoption.
• Nairobi is the dominant hub for EV charging demand, contributing Sh271.9 million in revenues, reflecting the early stage of EV adoption largely concentrated in urban areas.
