Mwala Member of Parliament Vincent Kawaya has strongly condemned the recent mob killing of three young men in Machakos county and is now demanding stricter regulations for the boda boda sector.
- Three young men, Kennedy Muthungu (29), his brother Stanley Muthungu (22), and friend Charles Mutiso (25), were allegedly attacked and burned alive by a mob after being falsely accused of attempted carjacking.
- Vincent Kawaya, Mwala MP and ally of the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), is leading calls for justice and is pushing for all those involved to be held accountable.
- The incident began after an altercation with a Probox driver, who allegedly rallied boda boda operators by falsely claiming the victims attempted to carjack him.
